Stem Cell Therapy is an option for patients that have exhausted other conservative treatments (rest, physical therapy, pain medication) but aren’t yet ready for surgery. This can be done alone in an outpatient setting or in conjunction with a surgical procedure to help reinforce a repair, speed healing and shorten recovery time.
By utilizing these stem cells in qualifying patients, our doctors are able to tap into the body’s own natural resources to either avoid or delay surgery, or improve the outcomes of operative intervention. Our Stem Cell products are derived from amniotic tissue. This process does NOT require fetal sacrifice and recovery is performed with maternal consent during elective Cesarean (C-Section) delivery. Amniotic fluid functions as a supportive cushion to the fetus and provides a protective environment including rich sources of nutrients, cytokines and growth factors that are required for fetal development and maturation.
